Scott Bieler, a successful local business leader and President and CEO of West Herr Automotive Group, continues to be a very grateful former patient and friend of Mercy Hospital. During these trying times and recent surge of the pandemic in our Western New York community, the Scott R. Bieler Foundation will be graciously donating over 2000 meals catered by Osteria Restaurant to hospital staff in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Giving Back to the Caregivers at Mercy Hospital

“Following an accident last year, I spent seven weeks as a patient at Mercy Hospital and witnessed the staff’s teamwork and dedication to caring for their patients,” said Bieler. “It’s not only the doctors and nurses but so many others like the environmental services and dietary workers…and now more than ever these healthcare heroes deserve our thanks for their courage and commitment for answering the call during this public health crisis.”

Mercy Hospital President Eddie Bratko expressed his gratitude on behalf of the entire Mercy Hospital team. “As our lives continue to be upended by this virus along with our Thanksgiving and holiday traditions, our staff appreciates these meals as a kind gesture of thanks and show of support for the tireless work they’re doing each day for all of our patients,” he said.
