Offering Quality Care Under Trinity Medical WNY

The Buffalo Orthopaedic Group has been providing high quality orthopedic care to patients throughout Western New York for more than 15 years, including general orthopedic, sports medicine and urgent care services. As part of Trinity Medical, the group will continue to offer a complete range of diagnostic and treatment services for orthopedic fractures, trauma, sports injuries and joint pain, including knee, hip and shoulder replacement surgery.

“We are proud to have such a high quality group join Catholic Health. Buffalo Orthopaedic Group will allow us to continue providing nationally recognized orthopedic surgery services at Sisters of Charity Hospital and its St. Joseph Campus, and at Kenmore Mercy Hospital,” said Mark A. Sullivan, President & CEO of Catholic Health. “We have a long relationship with the Buffalo Orthopaedic Group and are pleased they have chosen to join our Trinity Medical family.”

Along with the three partners, hand specialist Robert K. Brown, MD; and podiatry specialist Jessica L. Nowak, DPM; as well as several advanced practice providers, and clinical and support staff from the Buffalo Orthopaedic Group will be joining Trinity Medical, ensuring continuity of care for patients and families.

“Catholic Health has been our system of choice for many years, so this will be a seamless transition for our practice,” said Dr. Lapoint, who also serves as Chairman of Orthopedics for Sisters of Charity Hospital. “We are excited to bring a full range of orthopedic services to Trinity Medical WNY, and look forward to working with other Trinity providers to offer the most advanced orthopedic care to their patients.”

The full integration of Buffalo Orthopaedic Group into the Trinity Medical WNY practice network will be completed over the next few months. Patients of the Buffalo Orthopaedic Group should continue to call the same phone numbers and will be seen at the same locations during the transition.
