Car Safety Classes

Proper car seat use saves lives!

Car accidents are still the leading cause of death in children ages 2-14 years old, but using a car seat correctly every time can greatly reduce the risk of injury or death in a car crash. Studies show that 7 out of 10 children are not buckled in properly in their safety seat. Make your child one of those who are!

These classes have a safety presentation for car seat and vehicle safety, then an appointment for a one on one car seat fitting in your vehicle with a certified Child Passenger Safety technician. Bring the car seat you will use so we can help make sure it is installed properly before leaving the hospital.

Not just for parents, this class is great for anyone transporting a child. (And yes, we can help with car seat installations for ALL the kids, not just the new baby!)

This class if free to attend but registration is required.

Car Seat Check at Harvest House

We have partnered with Harvest House to host a special Car Seat Safety Check on Monday, September 16. No registration is required for this event.

A short class will be offered if a new car seat is provided. Please bring all children who ride with you in the car with you to this event. We will measure and fit each child to ensure that they are in the best seat for their height and weight.
