You really want to come into a Center for Excellence, and that’s what we’ve established here at Catholic Health, and at Sisters Hospital, is that team approach of board certified vascular surgeons, who are trained in taking care of exactly those problems that you have, and not other things. Not generalists, but true, trained specialists with that board certification.

That goes for any health problem you might have. You want to do your research, talk to your friends and family, see what experiences they’ve had. And I think it’s important to know, there’s a lot of national organizations that evaluate the care that we’re providing. This is not just, my buddy said this. This is, the Leapfrog data nationally says, Sisters gets an A rating in vascular surgery.

Roger Walcott, MD

Associate Medical Director of Catholic Health Vascular Services, Sisters of Charity Hospital
