It’s genetics, diet, and health habits. Smoking is still high, consumption of fatty foods is still high. If you still smoke, I tell people it’s like throwing gasoline on a fire if you’ve got blockages in your coronaries. 

When I see patients, we always talk about improving their diet, and trying not to smoke – that’s the biggest preventable accelerant.
