Mark Sullivan Named to American Hospital Association Post

Mark Sullivan, President & CEO of Catholic Health has been named to the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Section for Health Care Systems Council. Sullivan joins other prominent leaders on the 25-member council, who represent some of the country’s premier health systems, including Cleveland Clinic, Vanderbilt University and New York-Presbyterian.

The Section for Health Care Systems Council represents the AHA’s health system members, which comprise approximately 65 percent of AHA hospitals. The Council actively advises the AHA on health system strategies by participating in advocacy, policy, and resource development.

Sullivan was named President & CEO of Catholic Health in 2018 following a 24-year administrative career with the Buffalo-based health system.
