Mercy Comprehensive Care Center Welcomes Lorne Campbell, MD

Mercy Comprehensive Care Center is pleased to welcome Lorne Campbell, MD, to its medical practice located at 397 Louisiana Street in Buffalo. Prior to joining Catholic Health, Dr. Campbell was Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He has held numerous teaching and clinical positions throughout his career.

Board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Campbell specializes in the care of patients of all ages, as well those suffering from substance use disorders. A native of Western New York, he graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his residency at Buffalo General Hospital.

Practicing Family Medicine gives Dr. Campbell the opportunity to see patients across the age spectrum, treating a wide variety of medical conditions, while focusing on preventative care. “Over the years, I’ve adopted a set of core values, which include treating everyone with respect and empathy,” he said in discussing his care philosophy. “I also believe patients are an important part of the care team, and ensure they understand their treatment plans and are involved in decisions that affect their care.”
