The medical staff of Kenmore Mercy recently presented the Kenmore Mercy Foundation with a check for $100,000. The funds will assist the foundation in supporting associate educational opportunities.

Kenmore Mercy Foundation sets aside funds annually to help provide associates with the means to learn up-to-date techniques, while providing the resources to treat patients with the high quality care for which Kenmore Mercy Hospital is recognized.

“We are very grateful to the Kenmore Mercy medical staff for donating funds to assist the foundation in supporting educational opportunities for our association to enhance their skills,” said Susan Jandzinski, executive director of the Kenmore Mercy Foundation.

In 2016, the foundation was able to assist 110 associates, including nurses, environmental services associates, respiratory therapists, laboratory staff, office personal, and many others.

Currently Kenmore Mercy Hospital has more than 400 active physicians on staff dedicated to bettering the lives of individuals seeking care.

“It is both our honor and pleasure to help the Kenmore Mercy Foundation and Kenmore Mercy Hospital’s associates to carry on the important work of serving those in need through this donation,” said Dr. James Fitzpatrick, Vice President of Medical Affairs for Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
