Mount St. Mary’s Hospital Welcomes New OB/GYN to the Center for Women
Mount St. Mary’s Hospital is pleased to welcome Latrice Johnson, M.D., to its Center for Women located at 5300 Military Road in Lewiston. Dr. Johnson brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and expertise to the growing Lewiston practice.
Meet Dr. Latrice Johnson
Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from the University of Alabama’s School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Buffalo. She has received several awards, including the Wayne Johnson M.D. Award in Recognition of Excellence in Maternal Fetal Medicine; the Robert J. Patterson Award in Recognition of Outstanding Care and Compassion; Maternal Fetal Medicine Resident of the Year; Medical Student Teaching Award; and Labor & Delivery Nursing Award in Recognition of Excellence in Patient Care.
“I am extremely committed to comprehensive healthcare and wellness for all women,” explained Dr. Johnson. “My mission is to guide and assist my patients in achieving the very best version of themselves by promoting healthy lifestyles as well as focusing on disease prevention. My ultimate goal is to provide high quality, compassionate care through open communication and respect for my patients’ concerns.”
Dr. Johnson provides a broad spectrum of obstetrical and gynecological care, from routine GYN care for women of all ages to prenatal and labor and delivery services, as well as specialized care for menopause, anovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia spectrum, and placental abruption.
