What You Knee-d to Know About Knee Pain

Thursday, February 21, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Four Points by Sheraton
7001 Buffalo Avenue
Niagara Falls, NY

Knee pain is one of the most common orthopedic ailments, affecting more than one-third of Americans. As weight-bearing joints, knees can support up to five times your total body weight. Sudden injury, years of playing sports and other physical activity, or an underlying medical condition can cause pain, swelling, stiffness, and decreased mobility.

Join local knee expert, orthopedic surgeon, Adam Burzynski, MD, for dinner and a discussion about diagnosing and treating knee pain, from conservative approaches to the latest advances in knee replacement surgery. Dr. Burzynski served as the assistant team physician for the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres during his medical training. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery, including ACL injuries, and has advanced training in total knee replacements with a focus on uni-compartmental (partial knee) replacement.

“What You Knee-d to Know About Knee Pain” is open to the public. Guests are invited to attend one free community program per calendar year. After that, the cost is $20 and includes a meal. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m.

Space is limited and reservations are required.
