Over 85% of patients seen in our ER are discharged within the same day without requiring additional hospitalization. This is thanks to our ability to treat the majority of patients in our ER and discharge them with detailed care instructions. For those patients who require additional treatment, our team is quick to determine the best Catholic Health facility for them to receive further specialized care.

Every effort is made in providing care to each person who visits St. Joseph Campus. In some cases, patients may require transferring to another facility for further specialized treatment. The benefit of being at St. Joseph Campus is that we are connected to a network of care teams throughout Catholic Health. In the event a patient needs to be transferred, our ER staff has access to the best possible facilities for their care.
