Dog Days of Summer: Paw for Our Associates 2019

The Dog Days of Summer at Catholic Health are back! Join us in taking a moment to chill out and enjoy these amazing photos of our associates and their pets.

Julianne Kuta is pictured with her cute pups, Mickey Cyrus and Buddy. Mickey Cyrus is a 10-year-old Cavapoo. Buddy is a 5-year-old Yorkiepoo.

Julianne has worked with Catholic Health organizations for 35 years. She works supporting patients as a Customer Service Representative at Kenmore Mercy Diagnostic Services.

Emily Russillo is grabbing a frozen treat with her pal, Bumper. Bumper is a horse of course, and more specifically a 15-year-old Thoroughbred.

Emily has worked at Catholic Health for a year and a half. She works supporting the organization as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Revenue Management Center at the ARTC.

Juliana Chapman is conquering great heights with her dogs, Reggie and Rosie. These trailblazers are both rescue dogs, believed to be a Poodle/Maltese mix. Reggie is around 8 years old and Rosie is about 3 years old.

Juliana has also worked at Catholic Health for 10 years. She currently cares for patients as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry department at St. Joseph Campus.

Camille Kruszka is pictured with her handsome pup, Maxwell. Maxwell is a 3-year-old, Golden Retriever.

Camille has worked at Catholic Health for one year. She supports patient care as an Nurse Assistant at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

Jenn Pawlak is palling around with her dogs, Lucy, Chloe, and the newest addition, Bailey. Lucy is a 4-year-old, English Bulldog and Chloe is a 6-year-old, English Mastiff. Their younger sister, Bailey is an 8-month-old St. Bernese.

Jenn has worked at Catholic Health for 7 years. She currently works caring for patients as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

Shannon Scarpello is pictured with her dog, Charlie. Charlie is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever.

Shannon has worked at Catholic Health for 6 years. She works supporting patient care as a Nurse Care Coordinator in our Neuroscience department at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

Laura Cianflone is cuddled up with her dog, Jerry. Jerry is a Cockapoo and 15 years young!

Laura has also worked at Catholic Health for 15 years. She currently supports our organization as the Vice President of Human Resources Services.

Jillian Hill is pictured with her adorable, palm-sized hedgehog, Mr. Piney. Mr. Piney is a year old and could certainly give Sonic a run for his money.

Jillian has worked at Catholic Health for 3 years. She cares for patients as an Occupational Therapist at Sisters of Charity Hospital.

Jean Wood is relaxing outdoors with her pup, Dani. Dani is a 7-month-old Golden Retriever.

Jean has worked at Catholic Health for 17 and a half years. She currently supports patient care as a Registered Nurse Coordinator for nurse development in our Clinical Education department.

Lisa Carlo is snuggled up with her cat, Beatrice. Beatrice is 8 years old and a domestic short-hair cat.

Lisa has worked with Catholic Health for 40 years. She currently works as an Administrative Assistant in our Health Information department at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

MaryEllen Burket is pictured with her dog, Buddy. Buddy is an English Bull Terrier and is 12 years old.

MaryEllen has worked at Catholic Health facilities for 25 years. She currently supports patients at the Piver Center for Women’s Health and Wellness as a Registered Nurse.

Lisa Galanty is enjoying the outdoors with her pup, Hank. Hank is an 8-month-old Pomeranian.

Lisa has worked at Catholic Health for 3 years. She currently cares for patients as a Registered Nurse on the Vascular/Neurology floor at Sisters of Charity Hospital.

Wing Ng is pictured with her puppy, Cooper. Cooper 5 months old and he’s a Goldendoodle.

Wing has worked with Catholic Health for 17 years. She works supporting patients as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Katelyn has worked at Catholic Health for 4 years. She currently works caring for patients as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

Marissa M. is enjoying the sunshine with her dog, Buddy. Buddy is 2 years old and an Australian Cattle Dog.

Marissa is new to the Catholic Health family. She has worked at Father Baker Manor for 3 months, caring for patients as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the Subacute Rehab department.

Lauren Moore is pictured riding around town with her dog, Wicket. Wicket is a 3-year-old Havanese.

Lauren has worked with Catholic Health for 2 years. She works as the DSRIP Project Coordinator at the ARTC, helping coordinate efforts between Catholic Medical Partners and Community Partners of Western New York.

Danielle Grinnell is pictured with both of her dogs, Wiley and Ari. Wiley is 3 years old and Ari is 1 year old. Both of these cute pups are Border Collies

Danielle has worked at Catholic Health for 18 years. She currently supports the Catholic Health as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Financial Clearance department at the ARTC.

Holly R. is pictured here snapchatting with two of her favorite pet pals, Gus and Maggie (a.k.a. Pickles). Gus is a 4-year-old Yellow Lab and Maggie is an adorable rabbit. Holly also has a 2-year-old Rottweiler, named Theo, and a 4-year-old cat, named Kali.

When she’s not hanging out with her cuddly pets, Holly works caring for patients as a Registered Nurse in the Maternity department at Mercy Hospital. She has worked at Catholic Health for 19 years.

Kirsten H. is cuddled up with her dog, Sunny. Sunny is 8 years old and a Labradoodle.

Kirsten has worked at Catholic Health for 27 years. She currently supports the organization as part of the new EPIC team, working as an Integration Developer at our Canisius College office.

Melissa Parker is carrying her little pup, Gemma. Gemma is an adorable, 3-year-old Pomchi.

Melissa has worked for Catholic Health for 8 years. She cares for patients as a CAT Scan Technologist at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

Jodi Waller is cuddled up with her dog, Zeus. Zeus is a Gordon Setter and he is a year old.

Jodi has worked for Catholic Health for 14 years. She currently supports patient care as a Pharmacist at Sisters of Charity Hospital.

Robert Kozakiewicz is cuddled up with his pal, Reggie. Reggie is a 4-year-old, Jack Russell mix and was adopted from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.

Robert has worked at Catholic Health for 8 years. He supports the organization as a Senior Buyer in the Purchasing department at the ARTC.

Jessica Moore is pictured with her pup, Millie. Millie is a Golden Retriever and only 5 months old.

Jessica has worked for Catholic Health for 9 months. She’s part of the new EPIC team, working as a Clinical and Business Intelligence Analyst at our Canisius College office.

Nicole Smaczniak is pictured with both of her adorable puppies, Axel and Sabre. Axel is a 4-month-old German Shepherd and Sabre is a Samoyed and only 10 weeks old.

Nicole has worked at Catholic Health for 4 years. She currently supports surgical patients at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo as a Surgical Billing and Scheduling Assistant.

Krista Nati is pictured here with around 60,000 of her favorite honey bees. These wonderful winged insects are at most 6 weeks old, since that’s generally their lifespan.

Along with being our resident bee keeper, Krista works as the Creative Services Administrator in our Marketing department at the ARTC. She has worked at Catholic Health for 12 years.

Chelsey Sam is cuddled up with her dog, Teddy. This lovable pup is a 1 1/2-year-old, Cavapoo.

Chelsey is relatively new to our Catholic Health family. She has worked at the OLV Family Care Center for 6 months, as an Office Manager.

Sara DiTursi is pictured holding her adorable bunny, Peanut. Peanut is a 2 1/2-year-old Holland Lop/Lionhead rabbit.

Sara is also relatively new to our Catholic Health team. She has worked as a Clinical Pharmacist for 7 months at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.

Mary Flood is pictured with her cute kitty, Midgee. Midgee is a 9-month-old, Tabby cat.

Mary has worked at Catholic Health for over 10 years. She currently supports the Catholic Health Transfer Center as a Nursing Supervisor.

Debb has worked for Catholic Health for 6 years. She is currently supporting our Purchasing and Supply Chain department as a Purchasing Assistant at the ARTC.

Sharrie Licata is riding around with her favorite pups, Tank and Kora. Tank is a 2-year-old, Boxer and Kora is a 2 1/2-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix.

Sharrie has worked for Catholic Health for 13 years. She currently supports our financial team as a Manager in the Financial Clearance and Collections department at the ARTC.

Caitlyn Pearce is pictured with her best bud, Django. Django is 3 years old and a German Shepherd.

Caithlyn has worked at Catholic Health for 3 years. She works supporting patients as a Cardiac Sonographer at the Mercy Hospital Stress Lab.

Pamela Schmidt is cuddled up next to her dog, Ellie. Ellie is 6 years old and she’s an English Bull Dog.

Pamela has worked at Catholic Health for 30 years. She currently supports the Maternal Child department at Sisters of Charity Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Kristin has worked at Catholic Health for 2 1/2 years. She works supporting the administration at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo as the administrative assistant to Shari McDonald, Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer.

Lesley D. is pictured cuddling with her dog, Aries. Aries is a 11-year-old, long-haired Mini Dachshund.

Lesley has worked at Catholic Health for 2 years. She currently supports the LIFE program at OLV Senior Neighborhood as a Medicare Part D Analyst.

Diane Aquila is cuddled up some of her favorite pals, Dorothy, Blanche, Francesca, and Roosevelt. Dorothy (7 months old), Blanche (7 months old), and Francesca (1 year old) are Lionhead rabbits. Roosevelt is a 3-year-old Flemish Giant rabbit.

Diane has worked at Catholic Health for 10 months. She helps patients as a Substance Abuse Counselor at for the STAR program at the St. Vincent Health Center.

Tracy Novoa is pictured with one of her gorgeous German Shorthaired Pointers. She has four of these canine cuties, including Beretta (14 years old), Boondock (10 years old), Sidney (7 years old), and Leia (2 years old).

Tracey has worked at Catholic Health for 17 years. She currently works as a Productivity Systems Analyst in the Finance department at our Administrative & Regional Training Center.
