Having access to quality medical care is something I don’t ever want to take for granted. My late husband, Dominic, and I supported Mount St. Mary’s Hospital since the early days of our marriage. We always felt it is our hospital in Lewiston, right here in our own backyard if we ever needed it.

Fortunately, our family has only needed Mount St. Mary’s for relatively minor things over the years, such as kidney stones, never anything serious. But the care we received from the doctors and nurses has always been exceptional.

One example is Dr. Samuel Sirianni, a primary care specialist at the hospital. I cannot say enough about him and the way he treats his patients. Dr. Sirianni is so empathetic and will spend as much time with you as necessary to make sure you are taken care of. He has a remarkable memory, too, and always makes sure you follow whatever treatment instructions he may provide. If you don’t, he’ll remind you next time you see him!

I never want to take Dr. Sirianni and Mount St. Mary’s Hospital for granted. Talk to any of his patients and they will say the same thing – he is simply a great doctor. That is why I want to recognize him and the medical staff at the hospital.

Please consider supporting Mount St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation with a donation. To make a gift in honor of your caregiver, please visit their website at CHSBuffalo.org/Foundations, to make your secure donation online. You, or someone you love, may have had a great experience with the caregivers at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. I encourage you to share your story by filling out the Angel of Care form.

With thanks,
