Catholic Health Hosts Livestream Panel Discussion for Women’s History Month

In honor of Women’s History Month, Catholic Health is hosting a livestream panel discussion from Seneca One Tower entitled, Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Healthcare on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Moderated by Claudine Ewing, Anchor/Reporter at WGRZ-TV, the program will feature Dr. LaVonne Ansari, CEO & Executive Director of the Community Health Center of Buffalo; Joyce Markiewicz, President & CEO of Catholic Health; and Dr. Nancy Nielsen, Sr. Associate Dean for Health Policy, Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Join the panel for a discussion on the achievements of women in healthcare, the work that lies ahead to ensure equal access to care, and career development opportunities in the health professions. Topics of discussion also include addressing the social determinants of health, creating inclusive career development initiatives, and empowering women to lead.
