Catholic Health Hosts Dinner and Hiring Event for Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians
Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians are the “medical detectives” of healthcare, working in a variety of disciplines to help doctors diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases and medical conditions. Catholic Health is hosting a dinner and hiring event on Thursday, March 14 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Sisters of Charity Hospital, 2157 Main St. in Buffalo, for licensed or licensed-eligible clinical laboratory professionals to learn more about career opportunities available throughout the health system.
Catholic Health offers a variety of clinical laboratory opportunities at its main lab at Sisters Hospital and its hospital-based lab sites throughout Erie and Niagara Counties. In addition to competitive salaries and benefits, Catholic Health is offering retention bonuses of up to $12,000 for Laboratory Technologists and $6,000 for Technicians. Eligible candidates may also qualify for federally-funded student loan forgiveness programs.
Catholic Health Laboratory managers will provide a brief presentation during the dinner. Tours of the main lab at Sisters Hospital and on-the-spot interviews will be available. Attendees are asked to register for the dinner at chsbuffalo.org/labdinner.
